Milstead (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the South Dakota House of Representatives to represent District 9. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Milstead was appointed to the office in December 2018 after then-Representative-elect Deb Peters (R) said she would not assume office in January 2019. Milstead assumed office on January 8, 2019.[1]
