Oregon Vaccine Initiative, also known as the "Green Vaccine Initiative," did not appear on the 2010 statewide ballot in Oregon. The initiative was sponsored by Generation Rescue and supported by Talk About Curing Autism (TACA).[1] The proposed measure was not filed with state officials. Some of the listed ideas and areas of concern for the sponsors included: increased research of unvaccinated children and aluminum; changes to the current vaccine disclosure and informed consent laws; banning thimerosal for children and pregnant women.[2]

According to the secretary of state, supporters did not file signatures in an attempt to qualify the measure for the 2010 ballot. Initiative petitions for statutes required six percent of 1,379,475, or 82,769 signatures. The deadline for filing signatures for the November 2, 2010 ballot was July 2, 2010.
