Campaign finance requirements for Michigan ballot measures
From Ballotpedia
Under the Michigan Campaign Finance Act, Public Act 388 of 1976, the Michigan Department of State (MDOS) receives campaign finance disclosure statements. Those who must report campaign finances include the committees of all state-level candidate offices, judicial offices, Political Action Committees (PACs), Ballot Question Committees supporting or opposing statewide issues, and all Political Party Committees (state central, congressional district, county) are also required to file disclosure reports with the MDOS. The reports are imaged and made available on the Internet for review by the public.
