The Alabama Shelby County Judicial Commission Amendment 2 is a constitutional amendment to the Alabama Constitution that appeared on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Alabama. The proposition was legislatively-referred to the ballot by the Alabama State Legislature.
The measure enacted the following provisions:
- Establish a Shelby County Judicial Commission.
- Provide for the filling of vacancies in the office of circuit and district court judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit.
