Utah Proposition 2 (1994)
From Ballotpedia
Utah Proposition 2 appeared on the November 1994 statewide ballot in Utah, where it passed. It was one of four statewide ballot measures that year in Utah, two of which passed. Proposition 2 was a legislative referral.
The ballot summary said:
Proposition 2 changes public school funding by increasing and securing the present and future holdings of the State School Fund. It increases the State School Fund's revenues through the retention of a portion of interest earnings as principal, the deposit of unexpended administrative and management balances from the school trust lands, and the deposit of renewable resource revenues from school trustlands. Proposition 2 also modifies other revenue source provisions relating to donations, excess interest, and income from sovereign lands.
