From Ballotpedia
Hi MMH, I'm new to wikis. I see you made some changes to my edits on Missouri Proposition A. I think I understand why you made some. But I have noted a tendency for this page to be annotated by opponents in ways that did not seem right or fair to me, so I am just trying to keep things even. I will try to abide by your guidance, but I hope you will not inadevrtently allow opponents of Prop A have an unfair advantage. The original page for Prop A was simple and factual. In recent weeks, opponents began loading it up with their messages. It's hard to figure out what you think "the line" is that gets crossed when I respond by adding YES on A messages. But I will watch and try learn from this experience. I think Ballotpedia provides an important public service. Thanks for your work on it. - Cujokey

Now I see! Fixed! Thanks for pointing that out. Feel free to edit my brainless errors. I've been very nervous today for some reason.--Johnwynnejr 21:54, 14 July 2009 (CDT)
I think I fixed what you were talking about. I said it was headed to the Arizona ballot right?
And the governor? The governor signed it, the legislatures had nothing to do with it? It that what you are saying?
I've rushed through this quickly. I've go through it with a fine tooth comb.

Hi MMH,
I'd like to add NTU's position on Ohio ballot measures to your chart from our blog, governmentbytes.org. We're based in Virginia, but have thousands of members in Ohio. Okay for me to add?
Kristina
Hi MMH, I started a "Ballotpedia:To do list" in the hopes that it will provide an easy way for people unfamiliar with BP to start adding and/or organizing content. I think it can also serve as a touchpoint for regular BP contributors to make sure they are all on the same wavelength. Let me know what you think! Gardengnome

To all active contributors: I've made a template to put on the pages of ballot measures that will not appear on the ballot. To apply it, you type {{no}} at the beginning of the article.
- See example: Idaho Wolf Regulation Initiative (2008).
I am also encouraging everyone to remove category tags at the bottom of 2008 articles that say "2008 ballot measures" and "NAME OF STATE ballot measures" and replace those with these category tags:
- [[Category:Did not make ballot in Idaho]]
- [[Category:Did not make ballot in 2008]]
Both of those categories will become subcategories of the bigger categories.
Why did I do this?
- I believe it is helpful to the reader to immediately see at a glance that a ballot measure is not going to be on the ballot.
- The Category:2008 ballot measures category has nearly 600 articles in it right now--most of which will not actually be on the ballot. If we take out the ones that aren't going to be on the ballot, we make the category more meaningful.
Please check it out and see if you agree with the change.January 15:25, 2 July 2008 (EDT)

Another presidential election
If Barack get pulled from office, there could be another presidential election at the ballot. Now please put that article back up.
Petition Validity Rates
I do like that box you added. I just think it should somehow say or explain that clicking on one of those states is going to take you to that state's validity rates and not to the hub for the state.--Johnwynnejr 17:23, 14 November 2009 (CST)
National Petition Validity Rates
Hey,
Is there anyway that you could change that box to be a long and skinny box? This way it way interupt the percentage equations?
I guess this is still a project in the early works, so things could always keep changing.
Thanks,

Nevermind
Nevermind. I changed a few things and now it fits fine. Worked out. No change needed.
Thanks,
