The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit is a federal court with appellate jurisdiction over the district courts in Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. It is composed of eleven active judges and is based at the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse in St. Louis, Missouri. It is one of thirteen United States courts of appeals.
