Troy Herbert (b. April 19, 1966) is a Democratic member of the Louisiana Senate, representing District 22.

Education

Hebert attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana.

Professional experience

Hebert was a Sugarcane Farmer from 1983 to 1988. He is currently a Contractor/Carpenter and in the Oilfield Equipment Rental Business.

Political experience

Hebert was a member of the Iberia Parish Council from 1991 to 1995. He served in the Louisiana State House of Representatives from 1995 to 2007. He then joined the Louisiana State Senate in 2008. He has served in that position since, representing the 22nd district.
