Tim Shaughnessy (b. August 22, 1957) has been a Democratic member of the Kentucky Senate since 1989. He represents the 19th district.
Education
Shaughnessy attended Jefferson Community College. He went on to earn his BS from the University of Louisville. He then received his MBA from Bellarmine College.
Professional experience
Shaughnessy is Vice President for Jewish Hospital Health Care Services.
Political experience
Shaughnessy joined the Kentucky State Senate in 1989. He has served in that position since, representing the 19th district.
