Thomas Mac Middleton is a Democratic member of the Maryland State Senate since being elected in 1995.

Middleton attended Charles County Community College and then Mount St. Mary's College where he earned his B.S. in biology. He then worked in military intelligence, U.S. Army. He is the current owner and operator of Cedar Hill Farm, near Waldorf.
