St Louis County Proposition I (2008)
St Louis County Proposition I was a measure on the November 4 ballot in St. Louis County. The measure sought to issue debt in the amount of $120 million with the money going to fund capitol improvements to county buildings.
This measure was defeated with only 50.82 percent for the measure when it needed at least 57 percent.[1]
Text of Question
Shall St. Louis County, Missouri, issue general obligation bonds up to the amount of One Hundred Twenty Million Dollars for the purposes of constructing various capital improvements to County buildings and facilities, and making improvements to County safety/security and communication facilities?[2]
Endorsements
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch endorsed the measure.[3]
