GREENLAND, Arkansas: On September 6, 2009, a small town mayor in the state of Arkansas declared his candidacy for the U.S. Senate, and he will run for the Green Party nomination. John Gray, mayor of Greenland, will run his 2010 campaign with a Masters Degree in physics and an abundance of knowledge in atomic energy under his belt.

Gray has been known to be a staunch opponent of atomic energy and is a former employee of the Atomic Energy Agency. Gray is not listed on the Green Party of Arkansas website and is not on the database of Green Party mayors.^[1]

The city of Greenland has approximately 1,000 residents and is also located in the northwest part of the state.^[2]
