Sharon Stewart-Perogoy (b. June 3, 1953) is a Democratic member of the Montana Senate, representing District 21.

Education

Stewart-Peregoy earned her BS in Elementary Education from Montana State University in 1976. She later received her M.Ed in Education, Emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction, from the City University at Seattle in 2002.

Professional experience

Stewart-Peregoy was Director of the Title III Program at Little Big Horn College, Crow Agency, Montana. She then worked as Coordinator for Crow Tobacco Prevention Program, Executive Branch, for the Crow Agency, Montana, from 2003 to 2006. She was Director of the Crow Tribal Health Department, Executive Branch, for the Crow Agency, Montana, for the next year. She has been a Research/Development Specialist for the Office of Economic Development of the Crow Tribe of Indians since 2007.

Political experience

Stewart-Peregoy joined the Montana State Senate in 2008. She has served in that position since, representing the 21st district.
