Robert Marionneaux, Jr (b. October 7, 1968) is a Democratic member of the Louisiana Senate, representing District 17.
Education
Marionneaux earned his BS in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University. He went on to receive his JD from Southern University.
Professional experience
Marionneaux was Officer Manager from 1989 to 1991. He then worked as Legal Assistant from 1991 to 1995. He is currently an attorney and cattleman.
Political experience
Marionneaux served in the Louisiana State House of Representatives from 1995 to 1999. He then joined the Louisiana State Senate in 1999. He has served in that position since, representing the 17th district.
