Robert Hurt (b. June 16, 1969) is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the state of Virginia. Hurt represents the 5th congressional district of Virginia and was first elected to the House in 2010. He is running for re-election in 2012.

Biography

Hurt earned his J.D. at Mississippi College and became chief assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Pittsylvania County in Virginia. He then went into private practice.[1]
