Oregon Ballot Measure 24 (2002) is an initiated state statute that would allow licensed denturists to install removable upper or lower partial dentures to replace missing natural teeth and authorize dentists and licensed denturists to cooperate and maintain mutually agreeable business and professional associations, with each responsible for own area of expertise.[1]

The measure passed by a large margain at the November 2002 General Election.
Support
Supporters, such as the Oregon State Denturist Association (OSDA), a chief sponsor of the measure[3], argued that denturists are qualified to design, create and fit patients with partial dentures and should be allowed to help thousands of seniors and low-income people who otherwise could not afford this important dental appliance gain access to partial dentures.[4]
