Oregon Ballot Measure 16 (2002)

Oregon Ballot Measure 16 (2002) or Senate Joint Resolution (SJR) 22 is a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment that allows the state to issue general obligation bonds to assess need for and to conduct seismic rehabilitation of emergency services buildings. The measure limits the amount of indebtness to 1/5 of 1% of the real market value of all property in the state.[1]
