Oklahoma State Question 78 (Initiative #51) appeared on the 1916 ballot in Oklahoma. It received 147,067 "Yes" votes and 119,602 "No" votes; however, approval from 152,054 voters were required for passage, so it failed.

It was an initiated constitutional amendment.

The objective of the measure was to reform the selection process for ballot counters, to try to ensure fair elections.
