The Oklahoma House of Representatives is the lower house of the Oklahoma Legislature and meets at the State Capitol in Oklahoma City. 101 members serve in the lower house. As dictated per the Oklahoma Consitution, regular sessions of the Legislature shall meet at Noon on the first Monday in February of each year. In addition, the Legislature meets in regular session on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January in odd-numbered years from twelve noon until no later than five p.m. for organizational purposes outlined in the Constitution. Regular sesssions of the Legislature shall be "adjourned sine die not later than five o'clock p.m. on the last Friday in May of each year."[1].
