Ohio Issue 2 (1969) was a measure regarding vacancy in a statewide office. This ballot measure was referred to the ballot by the Ohio State Legislature. It passed with 64.3% of voters in favor.

Text of the proposal

To provide for the elimination of the short term election of state officers to fill a vacancy, where the remainder of the term is less than one year (Art. III, Sec. 18; Art XVII, Sec. 2)[1]
