Ohio Homestead Taxes for Seniors (1970)

Ohio Issue 1 appeared on the 1970 ballot in Ohio. It was a measure regarding homestead taxes for seniors. This ballot measure was referred to the ballot by the Ohio State Legislature. It passed, with 74.8% of voters in favor.

Text of the proposal

To permit enactment of laws reducing the valuation of the homestead and taxes for residents sixty-five years of age and over (Art. XII, Sec. 2) ^[1]
