The Ohio Authorization of Ballot Measure Drafting Act appearing on the ballot as Issue 3, was on the May 7, 1974 statewide primary ballot in Ohio. This ballot measure was referred to the ballot by the Ohio State Legislature. It was approved with 72% of voters in favor.

Text of the proposal

The language on the ballot said, "To provide for preparation of ballot language on constitutional amendments proposed by the General Assembly, to provide procedures for timely challenges to such language, and to provide information to voters about such amendments (Art. XVI, Sec. 1)."
