Four statewide ballot questions will appear on the November 4, 2008 ballot in North Dakota. North Dakota voters have already weighed in on one ballot measure in 2008, a legislative referral that appeared on the June statewide primary ballot.

The deadline for filing signatures to make the November 4 ballot in North Dakota was midnight on Tuesday, August 5.

  • Through 2006, a total of 170 citizen-initiated ballot propositions had appeared on North Dakota's ballot since the beginning of the process in 1918. Of those, 78 passed and 92 failed.
