The Connecticut legislature's Government Administration & Elections Committee has not responded to a request by two legislators that it look into the activities of a controversial voter registration group. The group, ACORN, is accused of voter registration fraud in Connecticut and other states.[1]
Legislators had hoped for a pre-election hearing
The two legislators had asked for a pre-election hearing. They said they were hoping to provide a forum for voters concerned about fraud, and for ACORN to tell its side of the story.[2]
