KVBC-TV 3-CARSON CITY, NV-Just 24 hours away before Nevada citizens cast their ballots in a important election the Nevada secretary of state said there was no confirmed cases of voting fraud in the past three presidential elections.
Many Complaints Came to the SOS Office
Miller said to the Las Vegas NBC affliate that his office received numerous complaints about fraud and voter suppression while campaigning for office two years ago sparring back to the 1996 Presidential Election.
When Miller took office in 2006, he started reviewing records from the previous elections. Thirteen suspicious cases turned up in Nevada but investigators now say none of them involved any willful violation of election law in Nevada.Scrutiny of this year's voting promises to be particularly intense due to Nevada's status as a battleground state and on a current investigation of ACORN[1].
