The Nevada People's Initiative to Stop the Taking of Our Land (2008), also known as PISTOL, was a ballot measure that appeared on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Nevada after first appearing on the November 7, 2006 ballot in the state, where voters approved it on the first go-round.

Nevada's initiative laws have the unique requirement that voters must approve an initiated constitutional amendment two elections in a row, which is why PISTOL was on the November 2008 ballot.[1]
