Ballot question

The question was on whether to retain a law, LB 126, passed by the Nebraska State Legislature that dissolved all "Class 1" schools in the state. A "yes" vote on the referendum question was a vote in favor of retaining LB 126; a "no" vote was a vote against LB 126.

Since the measure lost, the supporters of the referendum (the groups and individuals who collected signatures to put it on the ballot), were successful in their goal of overturning the law at the ballot box.
