Nebraska Amendment 3C, also known as a constitutional amendment to change filing requirements for initiative petitions, was on the November 7, 2000 election ballot in Nebraska. It was defeated, with 37% of voters in favor.

The measure was a legislative referral voted onto the ballot by the Nebraska State Legislature.

Legislative Constitutional Amendment

Increases from four to nine months the time within which initiative petitions filed with the Secretary of State shall be submitted to the state's electors at a general election. (LR 18 CA)
