Mike Sheridan is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 44th District since 2004. He currently serves as Speaker.

Sheridan has served as President of United Auto Workers Local 95, and worked as an auto assembly worker at General Motors-Janesville Assembly for over 30 years.

He is a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Labor Council for Latin American Advancement, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and the Rock County Labor Coalition.[1]

Sheridan did not provide answers to the 2008 Political Courage Test, but his answers to the Wisconsin State Legislative Election 2006 National Political Awareness Test are available. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected. He did not provide an answer when asked his legislative priorities.[2]
