The Maine Moose Hunting Initiative, on the ballot as Question 1, was on the November 8, 1983 ballot in Maine. It was an initiative to repeal a law in the state that provided for an hunting season on moose. It failed, which meant that there continued to be a hunting season in Maine for moose.
