Maine Legislative Candidates Residency Requirement (1981)

The Maine Legislative Candidates Residency Requirement Amendment was on the 1981 ballot in Maine, where it was approved. It was the 145th constitutional amendment added to the Maine Constitution.

The measure required that candidates for and members of the Maine House of Representatives must reside in the district they represent.
