Louisiana Amendment 6 (Primary) would provide for donation by the state of asphalt removed from state roads and highways to parish or municipal governing authorities. It was on the 1999 primary election ballot in Louisiana where it passed, with 59% of voters in favor.

Text of the proposal

The language that appeared on the ballot:

To provide for donation by the state of asphalt removed from state roads and highways to parish or municipal governing authorities, but only pursuant to a cooperative endeavor agreement between the state and such governing authorities. [Amends Const. Art. VII, Sec. 14(B)]
