After the 2011 elections, Weinberg was elected as State Senate Majority Leader on November 10, 2011.[2]
Weinberg graduated with a B.A. in History from the University of California.[3]
In addition to being a senator, Weinberg was the Co-owner/Vice President of Fineline Store Equipment from 1964 to 1995. Prior to her position in the state senate, Weinberg was the Majority Conference Leader for the New Jersey General Assembly from 2002 to 2005.[4]
