If you want to help build Ballotpedia, this page is one place where you'll find hyperlinks to suggested articles that are important subjects for Ballotpedia to cover, but where no article yet exists.
You can use this page (the page you're reading right now) to:
- Create links to articles you'd like to see on Ballotpedia.
- The way you do that is by typing the title of the article you'd like to see and then encasing the article in double sets of square brackets. In other words, type two beginning square brackets, then type the name of the article you'd like to see, using appropriate capitalization, and then type two ending square brackets.
- If you don't know where square brackets are on your keyboard, look at the two keys to the immediate right of the "P" key. That's where the square bracket keys can be found on most modern keyboards.
You can also use this page to find articles that need an author. When you have some time to work on Ballotpedia and there's no particular article you are itching to write, come here, find an orphan article, and start writing. You can tell that an article needs an author if the hyperlink is red. That's true below and on any Ballotpedia page.
- If you are reading any page on Ballotpedia and some of the words are red, that means that some other Ballotpedian is suggesting that someone write an article about that topic. Have at it, and be bold.
