Layton Freborg {b. May 13, 1933} is a Republican member of the North Dakota Senate, representing District 8.

Layton Freborg's professional experience involves general contracting, working in lumber retail, and becoming president of the 28-Country Western North Dakota Health Systems Agency.

Political Experience

Layton Freborg began his Political experience by joining the Underwood School Board and eventually becoming president of the board. In 1973, Freborg became a Representative of the North Dakota State House, before which he served as a Chair. His service lasted until 1981. In 1985, Freborg became a senator of the North Dakota State Senate and currently holds this position.
