Larry Taylor is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 24 since 2003. He has previously served as Mayor Pro Tempore and City Council member in the city of Friendswood.
Taylor is the owner of the Truman Taylor Insurance Agency.
He sits on the Board of Trustees of the Hope Foundation, is former President of the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, former Member of the Friendswood High School Site-Based Decision-Making Committee, and former President of the Friendswood Rotary Club.[1]
