From Ballotpedia
On June 3, 2008, California voters determined the fate of two statewide initiatives, California Proposition 98 (2008) (it lost) and California Proposition 99 (2008) (it coasted to an easy victory). Voters in California's 12th state senate district overwhelmingly rejected the idea of recalling state senator Jeff Denham. School districts looking for new construction money via general obligation bonds generally succeeded. (See also California 2008 local ballot measures).
