Function
The Joint Legislative Ethics Committee is a 10 member joint committee that is co-chaired by the Senate President Pro Tempore and the Speaker of the House. Its membership includes four members of the Senate and four members of the House of Representatives. The members are evenly split between the majority and minority parties. The Joint Legislative Ethics Committee deals with accusations of legislative conflicts of interest.
