John M. Blust is a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 62nd district.
On February 4, 2009, John Blust, Curtis Blackwood, William A. Current, Sr., Timothy K. Moore and Edgar V. Starnes introduced North Carolina House Bill 47 (2009), which would establish ballot initiatives in that state. Under HB 47, initiatives would need the signatures of 20% of those who voted in the last gubernatorial election.[1]
If the bill passes, the voters would vote in November 2010 on whether they want the initiative.
