Darneille has been a former Interim Executive Director for the Hospitality House Shelter for Women and Interim Executive Director for United Cerebral Palsy of South Puget Sound. She was previously Executive Director of the Pierce County Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome Foundation, Program Officer for the State of Washington Early Childhood Education,and Executive Director of the Emergency Food Network of the Young Women's Christian Association. She has been Director of the Women's Resource Center for the YWCA, and Continuing Education Program Coordinator for Tacoma Community College Early Childhood Education Program.
Darneille holds a MEd in Higher Education Administration from Colorado State University. She had attended Tacoma Community College received her BA in Art History from Western Washington University.[1]
