Initiative frequency of constitutional amendments related to time for signature collection
From Ballotpedia
This table shows the number of proposed constitutional amendments that have successfully made it onto statewide ballots through the citizen initiative process, versus the number of days that are allowed in those states in the petition circulation period.
The count of the number of citizen initiatives appearing on a state's ballot goes from the first time that an initiative appeared on that state's ballot, through the year 2000, except where noted. This chart does not include ballot measures that were legislatively referred to the ballot.
In the chart, the states are arranged so that the states with the least restrictive period appear first, and those with the most restrictive signature collection periods appear at the end.
