Gene Davis (b. July 2, 1945) has been a Democratic member of the Utah Senate since 1998, representing the 3rd district.
Education
Davis earned his LLB from LaSalle Extension University.

Davis works in advertising and as a public relations specialist.
Political experience
Davis served in the Utah State House of Representatives from 1986 to 1998. He joined the Utah State Senate in 1999 and has represented the 3rd district since. From 1998 to 2004 he served as the Assistant Minority Whip in the senate. Davis is currently the Senate Minority Whip.
