Involvement in ballot initiative campaigns
Futurewise was significantly involved in the successful campaign to defeat Washington Initiative 745, a measure that was sponsored by Tim Eyman.
Futurewise also played a role in the successful 2006 campaign to defeat Washington I-933.[1] Futurewise donated $152,000 in five separate contributions to the campaign against I-933.[2]
In 2007, Futurewise is active in opposition to the Washington Taxpayer Protection Initiative, sponsored by Tim Eyman. Futurewise has sued to keep the measure off the November 2007 ballot, in a case that will be heard in early September 2007.[3]
Sources of financial support
Futurewise reported gross income in 2005 of $680,053[4] and of $548,758 in 2004.[5] Futurewise did not disclose its donors on its federal income tax returns in 2004 or 2005.
