Florida Property Tax Cap Initiative (2010)

A Florida Property Tax Cap initiative may appear on the November 2010 ballot as an initiated constitutional amendment. Specifically the proposal seeks to revised Article VII, Section 9 of the state constitution. If passed, it would assure that the total property tax on any parcel of real property shall never exceed 1.35% of the highest taxable value of the property.
