This table shows all citizen-initiatives that sought to make Florida's 2008 ballot. Only one of the 53 initiative efforts filed was successful in making the ballot.
In Florida, initiative sponsors are able to submit their signatures to the Florida Secretary of State for validation on an ongoing basis. Clicking the links in the "Status" column will give you the latest figures on number of signatures verified. The deadline for turning in signatures to make the November ballot was February 1, 2008.
In the table below "CICA" stands for Citizen-initiated constitutional amendment.
