Edwin Grant was a Democratic state senator from California. He was recalled on October 8, 1914, and was replaced by Edwin I. Wolfe.[1]
According to the Los Angeles Times, Grant was recalled for co-sponsoring legislation that opposed prostitution. The legislation was on the ballot for voters on November 3, 1914. It was approved with 53% of the vote.[2][3]
