Doug Overbey

Doug Overbey is a Republican member of the Tennessee State Senate. Overbey has served in the Tennessee Senate since 2009. Overby was first elected to the Tennessee Senate in November of 2008 with his term expiring in 2010. Overbey has also served in the Tennessee house of Representatives from 2000 to 2008.

Overbey graduated with his Bachelor's Degree from Carson-Newman College in 1976 and later graduated with his Juris Doctor degree from Tennessee Law in 1979.

In addition to being a Senator, Overbey is a practicing Attorney.
