Daniel Martiny (b. June 27, 1951) is a Republican member of the Louisiana Senate, representing District 10.
Education
Martiny earned his BA from Louisiana State University in 1973. He went on to receive his JD from Loyola School of Law in 1976.
Professional experience
Martiny was Assistant Parish Attorney for Jefferson Parish from 1976 to 1994. He has been an attorney for Martiny and Associates Limited Liability Company since 1976.
Political experience
Martiny served in the Louisiana State House of Representatives from 1994 to 2007. He joined the Louisiana State Senate in 2008. He has served in that position since, representing the 10th district.
