The City of Coronado Beach Facilities proposition appeared on the February 5, 2008 ballot in the city of Coronado, California. It was defeated.

If it had been approved, it would have required the Coronado city council to obtain voter approval before building or expanding any permanent lifeguard facilities, restroom facilities or bike paths on historic Coronado Beach.

Ballot question

The ballot question read:

"Shall the Land Use Plan of the City of Coronado Local Coastal Program be amended to require that prior to the construction or expansion of any permanent lifeguard facilities, restroom facilities, or bike paths on the Coronado Beach the City Council must first receive voter approval?"
