Carol Juneau (b. May 5, 1945) is a Democratic member of the Montana Senate, representing District 8.

Education

Juneau earned her BA from Eastern Montana College in 1974. She went on to receive her MEd from the University of Montana in 1980.

Professional experience

Juneau was Director of the Blackfeet Community Free School from 1974 to 1976. She worked as President of Blackfeet Community College from 1976 to 1983. She was then a Student Adviser/Stay in School Director/Federal Program Coordinator for Browning Public School System from 1984 to 1997. In 1997 she was Director of Student Services at Heart Byne Public School. She has been a Consultant for CC Juneau and Associates since then.

Political experience

Juneau has been on the Montana Indian Democrats Council from 1996 to the present. She also served on the State Executive Board of the Montana Democratic Party from 1997 to the present. She then served in the Montana State House of Representatives from 1998 to 2008. She was also Vice Chair of the Glacier County Democratic Central Committee from 2002 to the present. Juneau was Vice Chair of the Montana Democratic Party from 2003 to the present. She has also been Treasure of the Montana Indian Democratic Council since 2004. She then joined the Montana State Senate in 2007. He has served in that position since, representing the 8th district.
